Canadian Personnel Selection Inventory (CPSI™)
 
 
The CPSI Assessment is designed for use in Canada and is available in three versions. All versions of the CPSI Assessment are available in French. 

The Canadian Personnel Selection Inventory is a paper-and-pencil inventory that measures the attitudes of job applicants. It should be used with other pre-employment screening procedures such as interviews and reference checks.

The CPSI Assessment measures applicants on the following scales:

Honesty - attitudes toward theft, as well as the likelihood that the individual will engage in theft-related behavior once hired

Tenure or Job Commitment - turnover risk, and the likelihood that the applicant will not quit after a short period of time.

Employee/Customer Relations - tendencies toward courtesy, cooperation and service.

Work Values - attitudes about work and positive work habits.

Supervision Attitudes - how the applicant will respond to supervision.

Validity - identifies applicants who are trying to fake the test and those who do not understand it.

Applicant Employability Index - a composite score that indicates the applicant's overall suitability for hire.

Validity Candidness/Accuracy Scales - demonstrate whether the applicant completed the test consistently and/or if they tried to "fake it" and make themselves appear better or more honest than they really are.

The Canadian Personnel Selection Inventory is easy to administer to groups or individuals. It takes less than half an hour and the results are normally sent to you within hours. We provide you with comprehensive reports which clearly indicate whether or not the person being tested is Recommended or Not Acceptable.
