| Surveys - Frequently Asked Questions |
| |
 |
| |
| Why should I bother to survey my employees or customers? |
| |
There are many reasons why you should survey your customers, suppliers, employees, web site visitor and others. Surveys are very effective ways of finding out what you're doing well and where you need to improve. It's just common sense, if you aren't asking your customers or employees what they want and what you can improve on - then you're not servicing them well and your employees aren't as happy as they could be (and subsequently not working as hard or effectively as they could be). Big deal you say? You're right. It is a big deal. Because every disgruntled employee and dissatisfied customer has a dollar figure attached to them. A dollar figure in terms of high costs associated with turn over, lost sales, complaint claims, brain-drain to your competition or other similarly costly problems. |

How do you maintain confidentiality?
All of our surveys are anonymous. Unless respondents identify themselves, neither you nor we have any way of determining who completed any particular survey. This is applies to both web-based and traditional paper-and-pencil surveys. Our data collection software will not record any individual's name, ID number, computer station, location, etc. Surveys only work when they are 100% anonymous. Ours are. |

What do surveys cost?
Surveys, due to the nature of the projects, are always highly customized. Since we can never determine in advance what variables, client requests or issues we may encounter, it's impossible for us to provide pricing on line. Please contact us with your specific needs and we'll be happy to provide you with an accurate costing. |

Why shouldn't I just make up my own questions and do my own survey?
Many people think that it's a simple matter to design a survey and administer it in-house. It's not. There are many variables to be considered and many, many ways in which to contaminate the data due to poor question design, distribution, collection or analysis methods. We have years of experience in survey design and analysis. It is far more effective to concentrate on what you do best and allow us to make you look good by capitalizing on our expertise. |
