Differential Aptitude Tests (DAT)

You need to know if job candidates can learn skills quickly and succeed. The Differential Aptitude Tests for Personnel and Career Assessment (DAT for PCA) tests applicants in eight areas that relate to successful job performance. Use it with confidence to assess candidates for selection, training, and career development in an organizational setting.

You can test one individual or a large group, in only six to 20 minutes per test. The entire battery takes less than two hours. Each section can be administered independently of the rest of the test battery. Answer documents give you scores quickly and easily, so that you have results almost immediately.

The DAT for PCA measures eight areas:

• Verbal Reasoning
• Numerical Ability
• Abstract Reasoning
• Mechanical Reasoning
• Space Relations
• Spelling & Language Usage
• Clerical Speed and Accuracy

The tests can be administered to a group or an individual. Each test, answer sheet and scoring template are sold separately.

As with any assessment tool, the DAT should be used in conjunction with other standard employment evaluations such as interviews and reference checks, etc.
