The EBI helps assess an individual’s past achievements and experiences in nine developmental areas. The Experience and Background Inventory helps assess an individual’s past achievements and experiences in a variety of professional and higher-level managerial positions; jobs that require background interviews and career counselling.
Research has shown that factors based on personal background data relate to work performance and future attainment. The EBI test has been used for structuring and directing background and employment interviews and for the selection, promotion and career counselling of higher- level managers and professionals.
