It helps measure:
Valuing of interpersonal relationships. Enjoyment from working with others, including patients and co-workers.
Self-restraint. Exercising discretion and maintaining self-control when dealing with difficult situations.
Enjoyment of helping others. Satisfaction of assisting patients and/or co-workers, which creates a desire to continue to assist others.
Optimism. Expecting positive outcomes or focusing on the most positive aspects of a situation.
Normative data is based on relevant groups.
Validation studies have been conducted on the HEPR assessment and are available upon request.
HEPR report includes individual scale scores and Significant Behavioral Indicatorsâ€”a narrative list to help pinpoint areas for further investigation. In addition, interview questions corresponding to an applicant’s specific responses are provided.
