Restaurant Manager Test

Evaluate manager/supervisor/hands-on/coaching/customer-orientation/work ethic skills.


Purpose: It will help you evaluate candidates’ managerial / supervisory skills, ability to manage using a hands-on style, ability to coach and motivate others, communicate well and often, organize tasks for optimal efficiency, create a positive customer-oriented culture, where people work hard and enjoy their work. In addition, the test judges candidate’s cognitive abilities to learn quickly and handle the complexities of scheduling, ordering supplies, tracking costs, and preparing reports.

About the Test: This test battery has two parts (1) a 93 question untimed personality inventory and (2) an untimed 44 item test of mental ability (about equal number of items for verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and abstract reasoning) This test will probably take most people 90 minutes to complete although it will vary from person to person because all components are untimed.

What the Report Gives You: Graphical display of scores, explanation of aptitude results, list of strengths and developmental concerns, and suggested interview questions.

Testing Process: Online testing provides immediate reporting. Proctoring is desirable but not required.

Validity Information: Complete validity information available upon request. Using our measure of Integrity as a predictor, 42% of low scorers were terminated within 3 years (many for theft, embezzlement, misuse of company property, insubordination, etc.) while only 12% of high scorers had left the company in the same time period.
