The Wesman Personnel Classification Test (Verbal Reasoning) is used to measure an important aspect of general mental ability – verbal reasoning. The verbal assessment measures both the ability to reason through analogy and the perception of verbal relationships. The numerical component measures the ability to perceive quantitative relationships and operate with ingenuity. The Wesman is useful for evaluating an individual’s potential for success in positions that require skill in manipulating verbal concepts.
